To All LMC Members.

I have put together a proposal of a Club Run on Sunday 12th October 2008 to Burghley House, Stamford plus a Two Course Sunday Lunch at the Royal Oak Pub/Hotel in Duddington Afterwards.

Burghley House have agreed to charge £15.00 per Car for entrance into the house, gardens & sculpture park. Therefore, car sharing would make sense. They have also agreed to give us a designated area in the grounds near the house.

The Cost of the Sunday Lunch Mains + Deserts is £14.95 per Person a menu will be e-mailed to each member for choice selection.

If anyone is interested please post your name on the forum or drop me a line.

well actually not quite my mrs, been together 7 years! Her name is rhiannon by the way LOL should have said previously instead of just 'mrs' LOL

Sounds good but not sure if we could make it...am out babysitting so cannot check with Mr Cheeky . Would try and farm the kids out for this one so sunday lunch in peace...well ok maybe not quite.

Oh yes ...Burghley do a brill horse trials..I go every year, must say I do not always see a horse...lol, is mine and my friends chance to shop till we drop. I do love waching the horses though as I love to watch the eventing...I use to work for an eventer so one year I plan to go just to watch the horses.

Thank you to all LMC Menbers who have shown an interest in the trip to Burghley House and a Sunday Lunch in the Royal Oak.
I need to notify Burghley House & the Royal Oak of numbers by Monday 15th September 2008.
I would appreciate for any other members who are considering cominf to this event?If you could confirm by this date.
I will then arrange for a menu to sent to you via e-mail confirming choices of Sunday Lunch, a pack of the route & planned arrangments for the day.
